Can makeup be applied after the face cream?

Of course, as a moisturizer can be applied previously to makeup, as it leaves no greasy or sticky sensation, which facilitates the application of any base or powder makeup later.

What is the maximum exposure time of the mask?

We recommend to leave the mask on for 3-5 minutes. However, as soon as you notice that the clay itself has dried* and solidified, it is time to remove it with a damp sponge.

* Depending on the type of skin it can be before or after.

Can my skin be exposed to the sun with the cream on?

Yes, the same muds of ibiza have the function of natural sun protection inherent in itself, creating a barrier between our skin and ultraviolet rays. However, it is recommended to apply a specific sunscreen if you are going to receive prolonged exposure to the sun.

Does the cream have colour pigments?

Barros de Ibiza cream does not contain colour pigments, it is a 100% natural cream although it can give us an illuminating effect that will make us look fresh and healthy.

Do you have added perfumes?

Our products do not have perfumes, nor do they have olfactory characteristics as they do not have any synthetic additives.

Do they contain silicones, parabens or sulphates?

Our Barros de Ibiza products are 100% natural and do not contain any sulphates, silicones or parabens, only biological ingredients, without the previously mentioned chemicals. Our facial cosmetics products are therefore 100% natural and free of toxins.

Are they environmentally friendly and cruelty free?

Of course, our products are recognized for their quality and high percentage of naturally obtained organic ingredients and plant extracts, advocating organic ingredients and respect for animals.

Likewise, neither the final products in cosmetics nor the raw materials have been tested on animals, so Barros de Ibiza is considered a "cruelty free" brand.

Not only do we take care of the most sensitive and damaged skins, but we also respect and assume the commitment to the survival of other living beings. Only in this way can we comply with Directive 2003/15/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council.

The first phase of implementation of this regulation, which began in 2004, prohibited the marketing of cosmetics tested on animals within the Community borders. Since 2013, the veto also covers toxicity tests. Now, no beauty products sold within European countries are previously tested on living beings. Some brands are still in the process of adapting to the directive, but Barros de Ibiza is 100% compliant and excludes animal tests from product testing.

Are they vegan?

None of our products contain ingredients from animals or products generated by them, such as milk or honey.

Are the containers recyclable?

Yes, our containers are made of PETG plastic, easy to recycle, in accordance with current environmental policies. It is a copolymer, with a wide list of materials and applications, which by its qualities is used in many applications, in this case for the packaging of our products.

There are different alternatives in which PETG can be recycled from mechanical recycling, chemical and some that have been raised in other countries to reuse PETG or find useful PETG containers, in order to reduce their environmental impact and the volume of these in landfills.

Have creams and masks been dermatologically tested?

Yes, our creams and masks are dermatologically certified and tested, through a skin tolerance test on human volunteers and controlled by a specialized dermatologist.

Are they suitable for sensitive skin? What process has been carried out?

Yes, they are suitable for sensitive skins, the people who underwent this test were, specifically, volunteers with atopic and sensitive skin, being the results favourable and optimal for their skin type.

Why do these products provide deep hydration?

Because of the properties of their main ingredients, such as aloe vera, shea butter, olive oil, rosemary extract, jojoba oil, sweet almond oil. Known are the moisturizing characteristics of all these ingredients, all with a high nutritional value for the skin.

Is the cream very unctuous?

Our cream has a light and fresh texture, pleasant to the touch, without greasy sensation.

Are the creams suitable for topical use?

One of the essential characteristics of our products is their suitability for topical use. Its moisturizing and regenerating formula, created from 100% natural ingredients, is applied directly to the skin so that it directly absorbs all the nutrients. In addition, the absence of parabens and perfumes makes these products an effective and long-lasting solution against the deterioration of the dermis.

Regular topical use of our cream guarantees visible results: damaged skin is noticeably improved and the harmful effects of external agents on it are reduced.

Are creams recommended to restore damaged skin?

Of course, their ingredients are ideal for preserving the function of the dermis. That is why Barros de Ibiza creams are recommended to restore damaged skins. Their 100% natural content and the absence of ingredients harmful to the dermis such as parabens or silicones make our creams the ideal treatment for damaged skins or for those who want to preserve their properties. It is thanks to aloe vera extract that our creams are so beneficial for this type of skin. Aloe contains glycoproteins, alantoina, which is responsible for epithelial regeneration. The polysaccharides it contains have an anti-inflammatory and skin relaxing function, as well as being one of the best ways to prevent the proliferation of bacteria and microbes. Precisely this quality of aloe is what makes it very suitable for healing sores and ulcers of the skin or mouth. For all these reasons aloe is one of the best ways we have to recover the natural state of the skin.

Are the ingredients in the mask the same as in the cream?

No, the mask has 6 of the total 11 ingredients of the cream, which are: Ibiza muds, Bentonite, Kaolin, sweet almond oil, vegan hyaluronic acid (bio fermented), Chicory root (Tens Up), Shea butter and Jojoba oil.

How often is it recommended to use the cream?

You can use the cream whenever you feel that your skin needs extra hydration or to give it a touch of vitality, the recommended frequency is normally a couple of times a day.

What is the shelf life of creams?

Once opened, the cream has a durability of 6 months. This factor depends on the storage method, which can extend the shelf life.

We use natural preservatives and minerals that keep the cream unopened in an optimal state for up to 30 months.

How should the product be stored?

To maintain the maximum properties of our organic cosmetics we must follow these simple steps:
